Potential Paper Shortage 17th March 2010

Printers nationwide are facing potential paper shortages

Printing companies are being warned there could be a significant paper short in the coming weeks. This is due to the terrible Chilean earthquake and also the current strike action in Finland at their docks. Both countries are major suppliers of pulp and finished papers. Not only is this affecting the supply chain, but has the potential to add further increases to raw material costs.
 
During this time Manor Printing will still provide its excellent service levels, and where there is a potential paper shortage, alternatives will be sourced and offered as an alternative solution. We will also endeavor to keep any enforced price increases to a bare minimum
